Pecan Butter Balls

  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    Combine flour, margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, salt and pecans.

    Mix with fork until well blended.

    With lightly floured hands, shape into 1-inch balls.

    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in preheated oven at 325° for 20 minutes or until slightly brown on bottom.

    Let cool a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Put confectioners sugar in plastic bag.

    Shake until coated.
