- 1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 4 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/4 lb. candied cherries
- 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. pecans
- 1 lb. white raisins
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar gradually.

2Add beaten eggs, one at a time.

3Sift flour with baking powder.

4Dredge fruit with part of it.

5Add flavoring, then fold in flour.

6Add nuts and fruit last. Bake in loaf pan in slow oven at 300° for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
