- 1 lb. sugar
- 1 lb. butter
- 1 lb. flour (bread)
- 1 lb. white raisins
- 2 c. pecans, broken up
- 6 eggs
- 1 (1 oz.) bottle lemon extract
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add extract.

2Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder; add gradually, reserving enough to dredge nuts and raisins, then fold them into the cake mixture. Pour into large angel cake pan, completely lined with brown paper, not greased.

3Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
