- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. Sugar Twin
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 1/2 c. diabetic applesauce
- 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
- 1 c. sliced dates
Directions

1Cream butter until light.

2Combine egg, Sugar Twin and vanilla; beat until well blended.

3Blend into butter.

4Sift dry ingredients together; add to butter mixture.

5Mix until well blended.

6Stir in applesauce.

7Beat with electric mixer for several minutes at high speed.

8Blend in pecans and dates.

9Turn into buttered loaf pan.

10Bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour, or until cake tests done.
