- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick oleo
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 5 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt oleo and add sugar.

2Beat in eggs, milk, cornmeal, vinegar and vanilla.

3Stir in pecans.

4Pour into shell and bake at 375° about 20 to 30 minutes.

5Pie is done when knife inserted in middle comes out clean.

6Turn oven off and let pie completely cool in oven (overnight is best).
