Pecan Chicken

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic or equal in powder form
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 lb. chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c. onion, chopped

Directions

    Combine soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic and chicken in bowl. Heat oil in skillet.

    Add mixture.

    Stir-fry until chicken is cooked and soy sauce mixture coats chicken (approximately 5 to 8 minutes).

    Add onion, mushrooms, garlic and pecans.

    Cook 3 minutes.

    Serve over rice.
