- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) can crescent dinner rolls
- 1 slightly beaten egg white
- 1 tsp. to 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2In a small mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, nuts, cinnamon and butter.

3Mix well.

4Separate crescent dough into two large rectangles.

5Overlap long sides of rectangles.

6Firmly press edges and perforations to seal (this prevents separation during baking).

7Spread sugar and nut mixture over dough.

8Starting at shorter side, roll up, pressing edges to seal.

9Cut into 16 slices.

10Place cut side down on ungreased cookie sheet.

11Brush with egg white.

12Bake for 12 to 18 minutes until golden brown.

13Frost while warm.
