- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add egg yolks.

3Add flour and vanilla. Spread batter evenly on cookie sheets.

4Beat egg whites and spread over batter.

5Sprinkle nuts on egg whites and press in.

6Bake at 250° for 45 minutes to 1 hour until very light brown.

7Cut in squares while hot.
