- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 2 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar and oleo.

2Add well beaten eggs and mix.

3Add dry ingredients and pecans.

4Drop from teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.

5Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
