Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook sugar, syrup and water until syrup is hard when dropped on water (hard crack stage).

    While syrup is cooking, beat egg whites until very stiff.
  3. 3
    When syrup has reached hard crack stage, pour slowly over egg whites.

    Add vanilla, continue beating until very stiff and cool enough to handle.
  5. 5
    Form into rolls.
