  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. water (skimp or omit, depending on dough consistency)

    Cream butter; add other ingredients.

    Form into small finger shape cookies on cookie sheet.

    Bake for 1 hour at 250° to 275°. Remove from oven and shake in bag containing enough powdered sugar to coat them.
