  • 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.

    Mix all ingredients.

    May be kept in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes in muffin cups.
