- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 beaten egg
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Directions

1In small mixing bowl, stir together eggs, brown sugar, butter or margarine, vanilla and salt just until smooth.

2Mix in pecans or spoon about 1 teaspoon of the chopped pecans into each pastry-lined muffin cup.

3Fill each with egg mixture.

4Bake in 325° oven about 25 minutes, or until filling is set.

5Cool; remove from pans. Cover and chill to store.
