- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Beat in eggs, syrup and vanilla.

3Stir in pecans.

4Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.

5Bake at 375° for 5 minutes.

6Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

7Cool to room temperature before cutting.

8Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
