- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1/4 c. butter, room temperature
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, room temperature
- 1 to 2 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Cream butter to soften.

2Add sugar, gradually, and cream until fluffy.

3Add syrup and salt.

4Beat well.

5Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each is stirred in.

6Fold in pecans. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

7Lower to 325° and bake 40 minutes. Cool before serving.
