  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. pecan pieces
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pie shell (unbaked)

Directions

    Mix cornstarch and sugar.

    Combine eggs, butter, salt, sugar mixture, syrup, nuts and vanilla; mix well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 375° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°. Bake 50 minutes longer or until knife comes out clean from center.
