  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter or oleo
  • 1 c karo syrup
  • 1 c pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • few grains of salt

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar. Add karo. Beat eggs, salt, and vanilla well. When well mixed add the coarsely chopped pecans. Turn into a pie pan. Bake until firm at 350°.
