- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 stick margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Mix sugar, eggs and syrup well.

3Add salt, vanilla and melted butter and mix well.

4Fold in pecans last.

5Bake at 450° on bottom rack for 5 minutes.

6Turn oven down to 350°.

7When pie starts to brown, turn oven down to 350° and cook until center of pie is firm and done.
