  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, halved or chopped

Directions

    Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.

    Add remaining ingredients and blend well.

    Pour into a pastry shell and bake on lower shelf in a moderate oven (375°) 40 to 45 minutes.
