- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. pecan meats, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat eggs slightly.

2Add sugar, syrup, nuts, salt, vanilla and chopped up butter or margarine.

3Put into unbaked pie shell and bake about 50 minutes in oven at 325°.

4The pecans will float and form crust on top if baked slowly.
