  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or less
  • 2/3 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, adding nuts last.

    Pour into a 9-inch pie pan lined with your favorite crust.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 250° and continue baking until a knife inserted will come out clean.
