- 1 pie shell
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecan pieces
- whipped cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry. Combine the eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup and vanilla in a bowl and blend well.

3Stir in pecans.

4Pour into pastry.

5Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and bake for another 35 minutes.

6Serve with cream.
