- 1 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. oleo or butter
- 1 c. pecans
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Pour into pie shell.

4Place pie in preheated 450° oven.

5Bake for 45 minutes (do not peek). To test, a silver knife inserted should be come out clean.

6Cool.

7Serve with or without whipped cream.
