- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 2-quart saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat until melted, stirring constantly.

3Remove from heat.

4Gradually beat in beaten eggs.

5Add pecans and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

6Pour in 9-inch pie shell and bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

7Garnish with pecan halves before baking.
