- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, uncooked
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.

3Cool; add eggs, vanilla and salt.

4Mix well.

5Pour into pie shell and top with pecan halves.

6Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minute or until knife inserted comes out clean.
