  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 2 (9-inch) pie shells (unbaked)

Directions

    Mix together sugar, syrup, butter and salt.

    Put over medium heat and cook until dissolved.

    While this is cooking, beat eggs until they foam.

    Mix all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pie shells.

    Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 325°.
