Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. Pet milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. finely cut pecans

    Set oven to 450°.

    Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Beat in vigorously eggs one at a time.

    Add remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly.

    Pour into pastry-lined pan.

    Bake on center shelf of oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to slow (325°) and bake about 30 minutes longer or until knife is clean after inserting in center of pie.

    Turn off oven and allow pie to cool on oven shelf.
