- 1/4 c. soft butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 3/4 c. Pet milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. finely cut pecans
Directions

1Set oven to 450°.

2Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3Beat in vigorously eggs one at a time.

4Add remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly.

5Pour into pastry-lined pan.

6Bake on center shelf of oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to slow (325°) and bake about 30 minutes longer or until knife is clean after inserting in center of pie.

7Turn off oven and allow pie to cool on oven shelf.
