- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

3Let cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture.

4Mix well.

5Pour filling into unbaked pie shell, and top with pecans.

6Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.
