- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar gradually, and continue beating until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla and nuts.

3Pour into pie shell.

4Bake in moderate oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
