  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped (shelled) pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter; add sugar and syrup slowly.

    When well mixed, add eggs, beaten with salt.

    Mix well.

    Stir in pecans and vanilla. Turn into unbaked pie shell and bake in moderate 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
