  • 1 c. light or dark Karo syrup
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 pie shell

    Mix first 6 ingredients in large bowl, making sure sugar is well dissolved.

    Pour into pie shell; bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer.
