Pecan Pie

   Cream sugar and butter.

   Add syrup and salt.

   Beat well.

   Beat in eggs, one at a time.

   Add pecans.

   Pour into 9-inch pastry crust.

   Bake in a moderate oven at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
