- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 c. white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 stick oleo
- dash of salt
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Melt oleo; add sugar and syrup.

2Heat until sugar is almost dissolved.

3Beat eggs until light.

4Mix eggs and sugar mixture real well.

5Add dash of salt.

6Put pecans in pie shell.

7Carefully pour syrup over pecans.

8Pecans will come to top.

9Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

10Reduce heat to 350°.

11Bake for 40 minutes more or until done.
