- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 2 egg whites, at room temperature
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Melt chocolate morsels; cool.

2Stir in coconut and walnuts.

3In a small bowl, combine egg whites and salt.

4Beat until soft peaks form.

5Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff.

6Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.

7Drop by teaspoon 1 inch apart onto brown paper-lined baking sheets.

8Bake in a 325° oven for 18 to 20 minutes.

9Yields about 50 cookies.
