- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt.

2Bring to a boil over low heat.

3Pour hot syrup slowly over beaten eggs.

4Cool; add vanilla and pecans and pour into pie shell.

5Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

6Reduce temperature to 375° and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer.
