- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. pecans
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar.

2Add syrup, milk, eggs, salt and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add coarsely broken nuts.

3Pour into uncooked 9-inch pie shell. Bake in a 350° oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat and bake in a 275° oven until firm, about 45 minutes.
