  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add syrup, milk, eggs, salt and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add coarsely broken nuts.

    Pour into uncooked 9-inch pie shell. Bake in a 350° oven for 10 minutes, then reduce heat and bake in a 275° oven until firm, about 45 minutes.
