Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. ground or whole pecans
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly and add sugar, Karo, pecans, vanilla and salt.

    Mix well and pour into uncooked pie shell.

    Bake in slow oven about 1 hour (I use 325° and bake about 1 hour and 5 minutes).

    Cool on wire rack.
