  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (white)
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter (shortening)
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. pecans

    Mix the first 7 ingredients thoroughly, then add the pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 325° to 350° oven for 35 minutes.
