- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup pecans (I like a mixture of halves & chopped)
- 1 raw pie crust (deep dish)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350

2In a medium bowl, stir the first 5 ingredients thoroughly

3Pour into pie crust and cover with pecans

4Bake on middle rack for 60 minutes

5Cover pie with foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes (until middle is springy)

6Cool for 2-3 hours before slicing (or it'll be runny!)
