- 1 pie crust
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
- 1/4 teas. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup (225 ml) dark corn syrup (1/2 of a 16 oz (448 grm). jar)
- 1 to 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) pecans
Directions

1Cream (just mix) butter and sugar gradually until fluffy.

2Add syrup & salt.

3Add eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly.

4Stir in pecans or arrange on top after pie crust is filled.

5Pour into pie crust.

6Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees (175 C.).

7Pie is done when knife comes out clean.
