  • 1 pie crust
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1/4 teas. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup (225 ml) dark corn syrup (1/2 of a 16 oz (448 grm). jar)
  • 1 to 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) pecans

    Cream (just mix) butter and sugar gradually until fluffy.

    Add syrup & salt.

    Add eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly.

    Stir in pecans or arrange on top after pie crust is filled.

    Pour into pie crust.

    Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees (175 C.).

    Pie is done when knife comes out clean.
