- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 to 1 1/4 c. pecans
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and butter melts.

3Let cool slightly.

4Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture, stirring well.

5Pour into pastry shell and top with pecan halves. Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.
