  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 heaping c. pecans
  • dash of vanilla
  • dash of salt

    Mix all ingredients well. Pour into an unbaked pie shell (9-inch) and bake in 350° oven 45 to 50 minutes. Cool and top with cream, ice cream, Cool Whip or serve plain.
