  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. butter, melted
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt

    Mix syrup, sugar, eggs, vanilla and butter.

    Put nuts in bottom of pie shell.

    Pour mixture over nuts.

    Bake at 370° for 30 minutes.
