Ingredients

  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. shelled pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked pie crust (8 or 9-inch)

Directions

    Add eggs to all ingredients except pecans.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Decorate with pecans, being careful pecans do not sink to bottom of pie.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Pie will seem uncooked when hot, but will thicken as it cools.
