  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. broken pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. butter, melted

    Beat eggs; add syrup, sugar, vanilla, salt and butter.

    Pour in unbaked pie shell and cook at 325° for 1 hour.
