- 1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- a pinch of salt
Directions

1To the beaten eggs, add the other ingredients (not the pecans).

2Place the pecans (whole or pieces; makes no difference) in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell.

3Pour on the other ingredients.

4Bake 40 minutes at 325° or longer, depending on your oven.

5The top should be nicely browned (don't overcook).
