  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown corn syrup
  • 1 heaping Tbsp. butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. pecans, broken
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Beat eggs thoroughly.

    Add sugar and corn syrup.

    Add butter, salt, vanilla and pecans.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 300° to 325° and bake almost an hour, or until filling no longer shakes.
