- 8 chicken breast halves, skinned
- 2 cups soy sauce
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried whole thyme
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
Directions

1Place the chicken in a large Dutch oven. Add enough water to cover; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.

2Drain the chicken and place in a large shallow container. Combine the remaining ingredients, stirring well; pour the marinade over the chicken. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours, turning frequently.

3Remove the chicken from the marinade. Grill over medium coals for 10 minutes or until done, turning once.
