- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Directions

1Combine eggs, corn syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar and melted butter in a bowl; mix well, then stir in pecan halves.

2Pour mixture into unbaked pastry shell.

3Bake in preheated hot oven (400°) for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°.

4Continue to bake for about 35 minutes more, or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean.
