- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 c. pecans, halved or chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix all ingredients for filling together, adding pecans last. Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.

2Bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes.

3Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 to 35 minutes longer. When pecan pie is done, outer edge of filling should be set and center slightly soft.
